Wheat flour - 1cup
Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
Baking soda - 1/4 tablespoon
Salt - 1 pinch
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
Sunflower oil - less than 1/2 cup
Curd - 2 tablespoon
Milk - 1/4 cup
Chopped tooty fruity - 2 tablespoons
Chopped dry grapes (black) - 2 tablespoons
Chopped dates - 2 tablespoons
Chopped cherry - 2 tablespoons
Pumpkin seeds - 1 tablespoon
Vanilla essence - as necessary
Take a clean bowl add ingredients (1,2,3,4 ) and mix well with a hand beater (there is no need of electrical beater for this preparation).
When it is mixed well add ingredients (5,6,7) and mix well.(we can also use butter as an alternate for sunflower oil). Now add milk little by little to the mixture and mix well ( donot pour of milk all at once this will make the mixture watery). Keep it aside.
Then take a clean plate now add ingredients (9,10,11,12,13) and mix well also add a tsp of wheat flour to it (this is added to avoid stickiness of the dry fruits). Add this to the batter also add vanilla essence and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to the cake mould after spreading a butter paper. Add all the dry fruits added earlier as toppings (nuts can also be added to it).
Take a hard bottomed pan and spread some salt over it for 1 inch preheat the pan for 3 minutes. Now keep the cake mould on the salt after placing a plate under the mould (thus will avoid the cake getting burn).
Now bake the cake for 30-45 min on low flame (dont open the lid while cooking) after the cooking time open the lid and check it with a toothpick. Let it rest for few minutes in a room temperature. Transfer it to the serving plate.
Now soft and delicious plum cake is ready
