HOW TO MAKE COCONUTMILK RASAM RECEIPE
This receipe is very popular in Tamilnadu . We had experienced many kinds of rasam but this is totally different and extremely good because of its richness of coconutmilk . The process is not much tedious but we have to make thick coconut milk and all the other ingredients blended in it . Perfect match with rice .
METHOD OF PREPARATION
At first grind jeerakam , fennel and pepper into a fine dust .Then add the curry leaves , corriander leaves , tomato , garlic and small onion to it and crush it .
Now take a bowl and add tamarind juice and coconutmilk together and add the grinded mixture to it . Squeeze it with your hands to blend the mixture well .
Remove the undissolved remainings from the mixture and keep it aside .
Now squeeze the other tomato in the mixture with your hands finely .
Add the adequate salt ,turmeric powder and water accordingly .
Now place a pan and when its gets heated pour some coconut oil and crackle mustard , urad dhal , dry chilly ,curry leaves and also add the remainings that was kept aside earlier and saute well .
Add the mixture tio it and close the lid . Do not disturb it until small bubbles starts .
Now switch off the stove Care should be taken that the rasam does not over boil as coconut milk is added to it . .
Now the tasty coconut milk rasam is ready to serve .
Serve it hot with rice .
